Who are we?
We are an Aotearoa New Zealand charity that challenges the global inequalities that push people into poverty and exclusion. Our advocacy, humanitarian and development work is focused in the places where people are trapped in poverty and discrimination, despite their incredible resilience and drive to change things. We offer support and resources, push for change with advocacy and campaigns, and respond with humanitarian aid in emergencies. The goal of our long-term systemic development is to enable people to survive and thrive, and ultimately to challenge the underlying cause of the injustices they face. To have the biggest impact with our resources we focus on the global threats where we believe we can make the biggest difference - climate justice, gender justice and economic justice
Working with Oxfam Aotearoa offers a unique career opportunity to be part of a secular, inclusive international development organisation, working with complexity and challenging the systems, not the symptoms, of injustice.
