Terms of Reference: Salesforce Administrator/Consultant

Location: Remote, but located in Minneapolis, USA preferred
Duration: 6 months – 20 hours per week
ABOUT US
Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is a dynamic, international non-governmental organization. We work to reduce violence and protect civilians in countries affected by violent conflict and its aftermath through implementing Unarmed Civilian Protection (UCP) programming. NP implements programming through the deployment of civilian protection teams to the field and is continuing to scale up to meet the growing needs of the communities we serve. Programming is founded on unarmed civilian protection and is thematically focused on protection in displacement, child protection, gender-based violence protection and inter-communal violence reduction.
JOB PURPOSE
The consultant will support NP in finalizing the implementation of the Salesforce Non-profit Success Pack across the global organization. Details of tasks and responsibilities include:
The Consultant will liaise regularly with the Group Director – Finance and Operations as well as the Director of Organizational Advancement on progress with implementation. The Consultant will also liaise with the relevant Country Programs for planning and update on implementation, keeping the Group Director – Finance and Operations and the Director of Organizational Advancement in copy on correspondence.
The availability needed will be dependent on the pace of the implementation, but we expect to need a consultant who can work up to 20 hours/per week from April through October. The Consultant needs to have a flexible working schedule to account for time zones across the world. The consultation may include travel to some of our country programs for in-person support.

HOW TO APPLY:
Please submit a letter of interest and a resume by April 14th, 2023, close of business. We will conduct interviews with applicants the following week. Following that, we will request a draft budget and timeline for the proposed scope of work. We would like the consultant to begin by the end of April.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a
calculator, copy machine, and/or printer.
Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
Ability to work in small or enclosed spaces.
Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to
exchange accurate information in these situations.
Some evenings and weekends may be required.
Some travel may be required.
