WWF Hong Kong is hiring a
Principal Functions and Purpose of the position:
To ensure smooth and safe operations of wetland habitat in Mai Po Nature Reserve, this position supports wetland habitat management in delivery of field technical support, ordinary maintenance work and centre operations at Mai Po Nature Reserve.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out any habitat management, infrastructure maintenance works and site cleaning
Assist with the management of the gei wai, such as carry out regular water exchange and maintain water levels of ponds. Any gei wai maintenance work, fish and shrimp harvesting. Some of the tasks require attending duty on scheduled nights and/or weekends;
Carry out support services to the operation of the Mai Po Education Centre, Peter Scott Field Studies Centre and public parking area e.g. minor building maintenance, cleaning of the public toilets in the Peter Scott Centre, clearing of fallen leaves in the parking area, etc. as instructed by Field Officer and/or his representative;
Perform driving duty e.g. purchase of materials, driving for guests and participants of training courses;
Support organizational events and activities, may be required to work in other centres
Carry out any other duties that are assigned by supervisor

執行駕駛任務,如購買材料及工具,及接載指定訪客和培訓班參加者往返世界自然基金會不同中心;
支持世界自然基金會舉辦的大型活動,可能需要在其他中心工作
執行上司分配的其他職責
General Requirements:
Vocational training carpentry and/or engineering (electrical and mechanical) or diploma in habitat management.
Demonstrate can-do attitude.
A team player with good communication skills and accountability.
Physically fit to outdoor assignment and willing to work in adverse weather conditions.
Flexible to work during weekends and public holidays.
Equip driving license (Category 1,2,4 ) is preferable.
Proficiency in spoken and written Cantonese and Basic communication in Mandarin and English.
