Community Solar Regional Director

We’re looking for a Regional Director with a demonstrable record of success in building relationships, teams, and generating leads. This role requires previous experience developing new markets. The successful candidate will be focused on customer acquisition in MA, ME, and NY.

You will be responsible for creating/hiring, onboarding, and managing teams to drive substantial revenue targets and demand. The position will report to the VP of Strategic Sales, and work very closely with other Revenue team leadership, the marketing team, and other senior leadership in order to meet your objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Build our sales and outreach teams in MA, ME and NY.
  • Be a “player/coach” who isn’t afraid to get out there and make your own sales.
  • Optimize our sales processes
  • Consistently build a healthy and diverse prospect pipeline
  • Structure and lead our efforts to reach low and moderate income residents.
  • Onboard new hires effectively
  • Set and manage goals and expectations
  • Influence the C-suite with direct feedback, input and observations from our growing Western region
  • Be our leader in MA and in the New England region, representing us at industry events and with others in the field.

The base salary for this role is between $70-85k, plus a substantial commission opportunity. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including skills, qualifications, and location.
