The Role
CQC is expanding its Commercial team and hiring a Commercial Analyst to be based either in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a new role reporting to CQC’s Commercial Strategy and Operations Manager**.** The candidate will be primarily responsible for sales reporting and analysis, onboarding of buyers and assisting in risk assessment activities for new buyers. Furthermore, the candidate will also help lay the foundation for the commercial team in terms of implementing processes and platforms to help the team be more efficient and effective. This candidate is highly motivated and an all-rounder: analytical and enjoys uncovering and analyzing information to inform decisions, and high EQ and excellent at communicating.

Key Responsibilities
The Commercial Analyst will be primarily responsible for performing the following:
- Commercial
- Deliver insightful commercial analysis (e.g. sales forecasting, profit contribution to CQC’s Foundation)
- Support submission of strategic proposals and RFPs
- Support sales and business development opportunities (e.g. identify leads, research, customer segmentation)
- Risk and Operations
- Lead on-boarding and KYC activities
- Collect and review appropriate documentation necessary to assess and mitigate risk
- Partner with the Finance area to improve risk-related processes
- Assessment of new buyers, using risk management framework
- Clearance checking of clients and prospect buyers
- Set up and maintain CRM tool for sales team and partners
- Support the internal development of inventory management tool
- Develop and maintain set of BI tools and dashboard that gives the sales team the data they need when they need it
- Develop and implement processes to ensure CQC contracts, executes and settles contract in an efficient and compliant manner, both in terms of internal risk controls as well as meeting SPV’s requirements
- Reporting
- Investment: Support board updates and reporting to the various SPVs and regional holding companies
- Buyer: Support reporting requirements key buyers on CQC projects and Foundation activities
- Executive: Support regular internal tracking and reporting to executive management
Relevant Skills and Experiences
The successful candidate is likely to have the following prior experiences and training/qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in professional services, consulting and/or strategy and business development
- High proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel and Word for performing analyses, summarizing findings
- Experience in building reports on commercial data, such as sales trends and forecasting
