We are currently recruiting **a Client Sustainability Analyst.

In this internship/Apprenticeship opportunity, you will receive the opportunity to develop technical and commercial skills in the promotion of Xylem’s portfolio for the reduction of GHG emissions from water and wastewater management.  You will receive support from a wide range of experts in product management, business development, marketing and sales, and direct coaching from your manager.

Your goals:

• Build depository of verified sources and databases from internal and external platforms that can feed into benchmarking models and carbon accounting tools
• Review and validate existing open-source empiric models used by external entities in the carbon accounting of an organization
• Build simplified empirical model based on the most relevant sources to provide a top view of emissions from Water Utility activities
• Collaborate with the Service and Product Management team to develop a benchmarking tool that compares life cycle GHG emissions of Xylem’s offering at utilities sites based their respective efficiency gain and life cycle assessment
• Develop cost analysis tool that consider local estimates of the price of carbon in Xylem offer to public procurement process
• Educate internal stakeholders from the commercial and product management organization on the utilization of the sales enabling tools

Requirement and qualifications:

• Graduate in Carbon Economics, Environmental Economics and Climate Change, or equivalent
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
• Proficiency in data management, analysis, dashboard generation, and presentation
• Experience in one or more coding languages is most welcome (VBA, R, Python etc.)
• Team-working skills
• Verbal and Written communication skills in English
• Problem-solving skills
