SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking an Assistant Project Archaeologist to assist with Cultural Resources management work in Puerto Rico. You will assist with SWCA’s developing disaster recovery work in the Territory, gathering archaeology and historic site information from government agencies including the State Historic Preservation Office and helping to create Section 106 National Historic Preservation Act archaeology technical reports based on that data. You will also coordinate with and assist the architectural history team that will be working on these programs. The ability to conduct archaeological monitoring or fieldwork on recovery sites with the potential to contain National Register of Historic Places-listed or -eligible sites may also occur.
