Job Summary****:**
This role assists within the Record to Report (R2R) Team with the monthly reporting for the various Xylem entities. It will support the Management Accountant in preparing and maintaining financial data and assisting the day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with the organization’s accounting policies and procedures.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Assist in the production of the monthly management accounts for Xylem entities within agreed timescales as set out within the team’s objectives
Ownership of the accounting processes for Fixed Assets Accounting, including preparing and posting monthly journals together with completing Balance Sheet reconciliations;
Completion of the accounting for Inventory including preparing and posting monthly journals together with completing Balance Sheet reconciliations;
Ensure accounting entries for all leases are booked in accordance with Xylem accounting policies and procedures and reconciliations are undertaken within agreed timescales.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist Management Accountant in providing commentary for the monthly check packs, analysising monthly variances;
Provide support when required for internal and external audit;
Support the R2R team with One Stream system which is used for consolidated reporting;
Ensure compliance with all relevant SOX controls.
To undertake any other ad hoc duties as and when required to meet the varying demands of the business.
