Job Summary:

The figure will support the Application Engineer (AE) and, if necessary, the Sales Engineer in covering standard product selections (but also high technological content depending on the level of autonomy reached during the internship) through RFQ (Request For Quotations) received both from customers and from Sales Engineers.

He/she will also support the AE both in the assembly of multi-product quotations and in negotiation stage with Application Engineer and Sales Engineer.

****Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Support on standard product selections/quotations
• Support on size products, processing variables and making adequate calculations in order to produce quotes Selling Price following Sales Strategy
• Support the AE on Project consolidation (multiGC offers)
• Support the AE on Tender Technical Specification, preparation: reads the technical specifications of public tenders and defines the products in relation to the technical and economic scores
• He/she could take part to technical courses organized by Customer Excellence Department (CE)
• Use company softwires to perform sizing (technical selection / sizing) and quotations and softwires used to facilitate the management of workflows

_Additional Responsibilities:_

• He/she supports the AE in reporting to the product managers any technical variations and / or modifications that may become necessary for the preparation of offers
• He/she supports the AE in providing the Operations department with the inputs necessary for the definition of codes and the correct start of orders

The tasks assignation is not binding, the employee must execute any other task assigned to him by the manager to ensure the proper process execution.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering
