Who are we?
Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality and enabling global industries to play offense in the fight against climate change that will accelerate the global transition to a lower-carbon economy. The growing success of our company is owed to our commitment to our people, our emphasis on our values, and our innovative technology. Passion is put into what we do every day.
The Role: Adsorption Process Development Engineer
Who are you?
R&D Process Development team is the heart of Svante’s technology. The process engineer will be conducting both fundamental adsorption process testing, RCTSA process cycle testing and dynamic modeling to develop state-of-art process cycles, support Material Development Team, Structure Adsorbent Beds Team and Svante Technical Services Team.
The Adsorption Process Development Engineer will work in the R&D process development team (dynamic process simulation team). He or she will function as the technical lead on development and design of novel laminate kinetic screening test methods, as well as conducting testing and analysis to characterize and optimize the laminate coatings manufactured in house. The engineer is further involved in integrating the results into dynamic process modeling. The role requires excellence knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals (thermodynamics, heat & mass transfer, kinetics, etc.) and gas adsorption phenomena.
