Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is a dynamic, international non-governmental organization. We work to reduce violence and protect civilians in countries affected by violent conflict and its aftermath through the implementation of unarmed civilian protection prog ramming. NP implements programming through the deployment of civilian protection teams to the field and is continuing to scale up to meet the growing needs in the communities we serve. Programming is founded on unarmed civilian protection and is thematically focused on protection in displacement, child protection, gender-based violence protection and inter-communal violence reduction.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Administrative Officer, the incumbent will provide administrative support to the Administration Department efficient and uninterrupted delivery of general administrative support to various departments consistent with NPP’s standard operational procedures.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other Duties: Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Administrative Officer/Senior Operations Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Possession of independent Judgment/Analytical skills
Ability to set priorities and solve problems
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and work within a team
Solutions focused, creative problem solver
Ability to adjust to difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook email
